Neurotoxins
What Are Neurotoxins?
Neurotoxins have been used safely in medical and aesthetic settings since the 1970s. Treatments like Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin work by temporarily relaxing the muscles responsible for creating expression lines. The result is a smoother, more rested appearance that still looks like you.
These are some of the most requested treatments we offer at Transcend, and for good reason. They are quick, comfortable, and require zero downtime. Most appointments are completed in under 30 minutes, and patients often come in during their lunch break and head straight back to work.
The three most commonly treated areas are the forehead, the lines between the brows known as the 11s, and the crow's feet around the eyes. We also treat areas like the brow lift, lip lines, chin dimpling, neck bands, and more depending on your goals.

What to Expect at Your Appointment
Your first appointment will start with a brief consultation so our providers can assess your facial muscles, understand your goals, and recommend the right product and dosage for you. There is no one-size-fits-all approach here. The amount of treatment needed varies based on muscle strength, the areas being addressed, and how defined your existing lines are.
The injections themselves are administered with a very fine needle and most patients describe the sensation as a small pinch. The entire treatment typically takes between 10 and 20 minutes. You can expect to see initial results within 3 to 5 days, with the full effect visible around 2 weeks after your appointment.
Results generally last between 3 and 6 months. Many patients find that with consistent treatments over time, they need less product to maintain their results because the targeted muscles naturally weaken with regular relaxation.
Neurotoxins are one of the most trusted and widely used aesthetic treatments available. At Transcend, every injection is placed with precision and an eye for natural, balanced results.

How much treatment will I need?
The amount depends on the areas being treated, your muscle strength, and the depth of your lines. Our providers will create a personalized plan during your consultation so you know exactly what to expect before anything is injected.
Does it hurt?
Most patients describe it as a minor pinch. The needle is very small and the treatment moves quickly. Numbing cream is not typically needed but can be used if you prefer.
When will I see results?
Initial results begin appearing within 3 to 5 days. Full results are visible at around 2 weeks post-treatment.
How long do results last?
Results typically last 3 to 6 months depending on the treatment area, your metabolism, and how active the muscles are. Regular treatments often lead to longer-lasting results over time.
