Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are injectable treatments made primarily from hyaluronic acid, a substance your body naturally produces to keep skin plump and hydrated. As we age, our skin gradually loses volume, fat pads shift, and the structural support beneath the surface begins to thin. Fillers work by replenishing that lost volume and softening the areas where these changes are most visible.

At Transcend, we offer a range of filler products designed to address specific concerns. Lip fillers add definition and volume to the lips. Cheek fillers lift and restore fullness to the mid-face. Jawline fillers create structure and contour. Nasolabial fold and marionette line treatments soften the deeper creases that form around the nose and mouth with age.

Hyaluronic acid fillers are also fully reversible. If you are ever unhappy with a result, the filler can be dissolved with a simple enzyme injection. This makes them one of the safest and most flexible tools in aesthetic medicine.

Every filler appointment begins with a consultation. Our providers will take time to understand your goals, assess your facial anatomy, and walk you through which products and amounts they recommend. Nothing is done without your agreement and understanding of what to expect.

The treatment itself typically takes between 30 minutes and 2 hours depending on the number of areas being treated. Most fillers contain lidocaine, a local anesthetic, which helps minimize discomfort during the injections. A topical numbing cream can also be applied beforehand.

Results are often visible immediately, though it takes about 2 to 4 weeks for swelling to fully resolve and for the filler to settle into its final position. Mild bruising or swelling at the injection sites is common and typically resolves within a few days.

Depending on the product used and the area treated, results can last anywhere from 6 to 24 months. We recommend scheduling a follow-up appointment around the 6 to 12 month mark to assess and maintain your results.
